Why We Champion Women
At Global Adjustments Foundation (GAF) we believe that championing a woman will result in empowering the whole nation because she will build her family, community and, thereby, the country.
While College education in India shows the male: female participation ratio at 27:26, the labour force participation ratio is at 82:28 (World Economic Forum, 2017). This indicates the extremely low contribution by women towards the GDP of the nation.
Although the gender gap in education is closing, it remains a challenge when it comes to educated women remaining in the workforce. There is a high rate of attrition among women employees because low self-confidence and ineffective crisis management make them give up their career journey quickly. In addition, most Indian women are still conditioned to value male family members’ fulfilment and well-being, more than their own. GAF has set itself the target of narrowing this workforce gender gap.
ChampionWoman life-leadership coaching enhances women’s self-worth and arms them with robust interpersonal communication skills, to seek and receive support in order to achieve their best.
